逃離「安穩」的束縛

告別壓抑的朝九晚六,我成為了自由工作者。

畢業前的理想規劃是,找一份穩定工作,每年升職加薪,平步青雲。現實卻是上班下班,營營役役,刻板沈悶。若換過幾次工作,還得招架親友們的冷嘲熱諷,「份份工都做唔長」。

大概不少人都跟我一樣,曾被這種無力感折磨著。

為什麼對工作總燃不起熱情呢?任職於一個大家都夢寐以求的崗位,還有什麼好抱怨呢?我努力尋找答案,到最後,我辭職了。因為令我沮喪的,其實不是工作,而是工作模式。長久以來,我都被「安穩」的魔咒束縛著。

所謂穩定工作,對我來說,雖然定期支薪,卻犧牲了所有其他可能性,明明不適合,卻害怕轉工,害怕動搖到安穩的生活。直到一天醒來,我問自己,如果工作的最根本是賺錢維生,一份長工,跟兩份兼職,還有三份散工,有分別嘛?但對我的生活,卻有翻天覆地的改變。

我開始了一連串快樂的新嘗試,即使偶然會遇上挫折,但每天還是充滿新鮮感,重新找回了生活的感覺。其中一個很實在的體驗是,近年突然喜歡上喝咖啡,以往錯過了很多機會,辭職後在找散工的apps,看到有CAFÉ招聘兼職咖啡師學徒,便立即應徵,現在總算能好好控制那部咖啡機。

更令我振奮的是,我發現原來做「全職散工」也不是想像中那麼「朝不保夕」,市場上有不少臨時和兼職職位空缺,白天也好,晚上也好,在不同的CAFÉ和餐館工作學習 ,也是十分寶貴的體驗,連每天於不同時間上班,也是一種樂趣。

雖然同時兼任幾份工作,工作時間或比以前更長,收入也可能會有暫時性的影響,然而這份自由的感覺是從前所沒有的。我相信這些「炒散」的經驗,能給我帶來一個更美好的前景,相比從前的朝九晚六,才真的令我身心俱疲。

逃離了「安穩」的牢獄,我感覺未來充滿了可能性。
